February has that ‘it’s not much, but it’s honest work’ vibe, being the shortest month of the year (even when it’s leap year). However, honest work says it all.
It was a busy month for all of us, I’m sure, so let’s wrap it up like the champions we are. 💪
1. Data Coverage:
The product update we all wanted but (maybe) didn’t know we needed. For each profile added to your projects, you will now see more details about the data coverage. This means that everything related to data for a specific profile is in that tooltip.
Hover over each profile from the Home section to see:
- the date when the profile was added
- the earliest available data
- last data update
- next scheduled data update
If profiles seem not to be updated, it’s because the profiles no longer exist or the data update was not possible. You will also see this information in the tooltip.
Why is this update important?
We know how important it is to trust the data and not only the data but also the tool you’re using. Socialinsider is meant to make your job (and life) easier, so why would we complicate things?
In order to trust both Socialinsider and the numbers in the dashboard, we had to work it out. I bet all your profiles added to your Socialinsider projects are up to date and ready to turn that data into wonderful reports.
2. Total Video Length:
Everything is video now. That’s why we wanted to help you gather all the important data about videos and have it right in the dashboard.
For Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, we added two new KPIs:
- Total video length: This metric shows the total value for video length from all the videos published in the selected time period.
- Average video length: This metric shows the average video length from all the videos published in the selected time period. The metric is computed as the sum of all video lengths divided by the number of videos.
On Facebook, normal videos and Reels are both included.
On YouTube, normal videos and YouTube Shorts are both included.
Product Improvements 🚀
- Reports - Not all reports are perfect, but we’re trying to make them better. There were images or numbers missing from your favourite reports. Not anymore!
- Create and edit brands - Just a quick reminder that now it’s so much easier to create brands in your projects and edit them. One click away from seeing the reports we all love!
